Recommended Conference Hotel with dedicated conference rate
We have secured a block of rooms with a preferred rate and complimentary breakfast at the Cambridge Suites Hotel in downtown Halifax from October 22nd to 27th.
You can book your reservation through this link UNTIL SEPTEMBER 10, 2026, at which point the remaining rooms will be released: https://reservations.travelclick.com/13605?groupID=5413240

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Halifax and is in close proximity to restaurants and coffee shops. From there, it is a beautiful 15-20 minute walk to campus; the hotel is also on the #1 Halifax Metro Transit bus route from Spring Garden Road (a block from the hotel). You can see a map of the bus route here: https://www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/transportation/halifax-transit/halifax_irm_route_1-2026_0.pdf (Note that the map shows both downtown Dalhousie campuses: we are on the Studley Campus, the larger of the two). Taxis and Uber are also available, of course.
Important note:
- We wanted to flag for you that the conference is happening on the same weekend as Dalhousie’s Open House day, so many hotels may be booked to capacity, so we recommend booking in the conference block at the Cambridge Suites.
